Ingredient Descriptions

ULTRA SLIMTONE FORMULA

Green Tea, Cotinus, Quercetin
BioSlim’s Green Tea extract contains approx. 50% EGCG, an ingredient found to powerfully aid in fat burning and in improvement of metabolic rate. This very special Green Tea extract, made using BioSlim’s unique manufacturing process, is considered the most powerful, proven weight loss aid in the world. Cotinus (an herb) and quercetin is a highly effective bioflavonoid that can help potentiate the effects of Green Tea; it also helps strengthen blood vessels, reduce inflammation and allergy response, and may help inhibit fat accumulation in adipocytes (fat cells). BioSlim Pyruvate Complex

Coenzyme Q10, Vitamins B6 and C, Glucomannan
All these nutrients have been found to enhance, speed up or aid in the weight loss process, and/or are important elements in the body’s metabolic processes for handling calories and fat. These ingredients are in the Ultra SlimTone Formula and some (Vitamins B6 and C) are in Ultra Vita/Min Plus as well.

Chromium Polynicotinate
This essential mineral nutrient facilitates and/or stimulates the metabolism of sugar, fat and cholesterol in the body, as well as the function of insulin. Major hospital and university studies have suggested that supplementation with chromium can reduce body fat, help build lean body muscle, regulate blood sugar and lower elevated cholesterol, particularly in deficient individuals. The polynicotinate and amino acid forms of chromium found in the BioSlim formulas are the most biologically active, best available.

Oriental Ginseng Root
Major constituents: triterpenoid saponins, glycosides. This premier Chinese herbal tonic is famous for its adaptogenic properties: the ability to improve the body’s functional balance and general well-being. In other words, it acts as a metabolic normalizer. Improves stamina and function of muscles, endurance, concentration, and work efficiency. Improves heart function and response of adrenal glands to stress. Found useful in hypoglycemia. Helps improve overall metabolic functions.

Atractylodes and Astragalus
These two famous, important herbs have been found useful in improving energy levels and alertness, and in regulating blood sugar and promoting proper digestion. Also believed beneficial in improving stamina and metabolism, and in the treatment or prevention of diabetes. Both are important constituents of Ultra SlimTone Formula. Note: both herbs are also reported useful in toning and strengthening the immune system. Also used to alleviate water retention and nausea.

Chinese Thoroughwax (Bupleurum), Gardenia, Balloon Flower (Platycodon)
Major constituents: saikosaponins, furfurol, bupleuromol, gardenin, chlorogenin. These Chinese herbs are important Ultra SlimTone Formula constituents. They support the metabolism and function of the liver and gallbladder, the sites of fat breakdown in the body. They improve digestion, and they can help in the removal of excess fluids from the body. Platycodon has a long history in Chinese medicine of use in weight control. Note: Bupleurum is also used to aid in preventing or treating menstrual irregularities and cramping.

Licorice Root (Glycyrrhiza uralensis)
Major constituent: glycyrrhizin. Acts rapidly to improve body function. Found beneficial in improving energy levels and in preventing hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). Cleanses the colon. Note: Also found to help reduce inflammation and the pain and stiffness of arthritis.

Dong Quai (Angelica sinensis)
Major constituents: valerophenone, vitamins, minerals. This famous Chinese herb is believed to improve circulation and modulate hormonal function. A detoxifier. Found useful in the prevention of anemia and fatigue. (Also used for weak or dry skin, and to reduce spasms and pain.) A highly beneficial and important herb for all people. Especially beneficial to women.

Other
There are several other highly effective natural nutrients in Ultra SlimTone Formula, Ultra Vita/Min Plus and Accelerator designed to enhance general & fat metabolism and/or overall well-being. Pantothenic acid

Major constituents: triterpenoid saponins. Promotes vigor, stamina and mental alertness. Used to lower cholesterol and blood pressure. Note: this herb is often used generally to help achieve optimal health and weight.

Choline, Inositol and Bromelain

Accelerator concentrates certain of the most potent BioSlim ingredients in a formula designed to help kick-start the weight loss process. It is typically used only for the first 12 days of the plan, without SlimTone Formulas or Vita/Min Plus. After 12 days of Accelerator, you switch over to the combination of SlimTone Formula and Vita/Min Plus, continuing them until all unwanted weight is lost.

Note: the Complete Kit for adults contains enough Accelerator for 12 days at full recommended doses (3 per day).
