How to cancel subscription of an ACAI SCAM?
I signed up for a free trial on advanced Acai weight loss product without knowing its reputation. Now they are charging my credit card 70 dollars every month. I am trying to call their customer support to talk about my concern and cancel the subscription that they signed me up for when i didnt want to but they are just passing me around. So i guess my last choice is to close my credit card. I need help regarding this scam.. Please

call your credit card company and tell them what you need done and what happened and go to the better Business bureau website and report this company
Call your credit card company and tell them to reject the fees. They’re stealing from you and the company will care because it’s not only your money, but their money as well.
Well you should report it to the police, the federal trade commission and the better business bureau to start, then call your card company and see if you can stop them with a fraud alert. Dont admit to signing up for anything if not asked, just tell them that these people do not have permission to draft your card and you cannot reach them. Thats where the police report will come in. If you need to suspend the card for a few months then do it. You can also try this little pry-bar tactic of mine, obtain their fax number and then fax them a copy of the letter to the above agencies before you send it as well asthe form to report fraud to the Federal trade Commission and see if that gets their attention. If it does, tell them to refund your money promptly. If it does not, then send the letters and get a police report and treat it like they came into your house and took the money from your wallet. These electronic crimes do not get the attention they should because it is “non invasive”.
The first thing you’re going to want to do is file a charge back for the charges you did not authorize. This can be done by calling your credit card company and letting them know you would like to dispute the charges.
This should get your money back, cancel your subscription and also get the Acai company in trouble with their merchant provider, as charge backs are a big no-no.
Once this has been done, I recommend writing (or Emailing) to the FTC, your state’s Attorney General and filing a complain with the Better Business Bureau.
Good luck!
I would just cancel your credit card. Unfortunately these scammers are usualy legally protected as it will say somewhere in their T&C that they will charge your card every month, but they know most people dont bother to read them before signing up for their “free” trials. You often can’t get any refund if their T&C state you will be charged. So just cancel your credit card and get a new one.
1.) Sort things out with your bank and credit card company.
2.) Notify the police about this scam.
3.) Brings this up with Y!A because I’m assuming you got scammed from one of those comments.
3.) NEVER EVER take part in free trails online. Especially ones that offer weight-loss pills or tricks.
