So you’ve been trying to lose that excess weight you gained over the past couple of years and then you come across an article that describes a new weight loss program called “ear staple acupuncture weight loss.” Now you’re curious. The good news is, it does actually work. Yes, ear staple acupuncture weight loss is a new way to lose weight, no matter how strange that sounds.

A staple wire inside my ear?

Don’t worry – the kind of staple wire and stapling device for ear staple acupuncture weight loss is different from that typical stapler you can buy from supply stores. The staple on your ear will not even resemble the typical staple wire you know. In fact, when you have your ear stapled with this new weight loss device, it will seem like you are wearing an earring… only not in its usual place.

Why staple my ear?

Puncturing the auricular acupuncture (acupuncture involving the ear) is a weight loss technique that manipulates the pressure points on the ear to cause an effect on your health and control your cravings and addictions. This method has been used to cure chain-smokers and drug addicts, and if properly done by a qualified acupuncturist, may help you lose weight.

What are the dangers?

Be careful who you trust when having your ear stapled. If you do plan on using this type of weight loss regimen, make sure you let a qualified acupuncturist do it. Ear infections are the common side-effects of this technique. Once you have you ear stapled and you feel or see any signs of infection (swelling, pus, etc.) or irritation, see a doctor immediately to have the staple removed.

Some reports claim that when you have your ear stapled, you will experience excruciating pain in the jaw to the mouth, giving you a hard time chewing and opening your mouth—people jokingly say that maybe that’s how this new weight loss phenomenon works: it prevents you to eat!

One effective way to track your weight – whether you want to gain or lose weight – is through the Food Pyramid. The Food Pyramid is a classic food and dieting guide, taught to us as early as when we were kids. Sadly, the Food Pyramid has been set aside in lieu of other (unhealthy) diet options. Nowadays, people are coming back and looking at the Food Pyramid for weight loss answers.

Food Pyramid basics

The Food Pyramid was created by the US FDA to serve as an eating guide for everyone. Simply put, the Food Pyramid indicates how much amount of food from each category (fruits, dairy, protein, etc.) you have to eat each day in order to have a healthy lifestyle.

Today, however, the US FDA has released an updated version of the Food Pyramid, known as MyPyramid. MyPyramid breaks down the food intake accordingly:

• 5+ servings a day of vegetables, especially dark green vegetables and orange vegetables.

• 5+ servings of fruit a day are required, especially fresh and frozen fruits.

• 2-3 servings of meat, poultry, fish, beans, eggs, or nuts a day, especially dry bean and peas, eggs, and nut and seeds.

• 2-3 servings of milk, cheese, yogurt or milk substitutes a day.

• Occasional use of fats, oils, and sweets, especially oils.

• 6-11 servings of grains a day, especially whole grains.

• 8+ glasses of water a day is best for peak energy all day long. It also helps to keep you hydrated.

Healthy alternative

The Food Pyramid is now being used as a weight loss tool. The US FDA’s Food Pyramid focuses on eating lots of fruits, vegetables, and grains. These allow you to cut down on calorie intake and increasing the amount of nutrients in the body, thereby resulting in a weight loss through the Food Pyramid.

The Food Pyramid is definitely a safer and cheaper weight loss guide for everyone.

Many people are resorting to laxatives for fast weight loss results. Are laxatives safe and do they really work at keeping the weight off? This article will reveal all there is to know about laxatives and weight loss.

There is a good reason why laxatives help with weight loss and that is the fact that they help you digest your food much faster. Unfortunately taking a laxative (whether regularly or not) can be an extremely painful experience.

How Laxatives Work

Laxatives are manufactured to more or less act as a sponge and, in effect, soak up the body’s fluids and then releasing them through your stool.

The Harmful Effects Of Laxatives For Weight Loss

What happens often is that people begin to rely on taking laxatives to create a normal stool motion. The truth is that daily consumption of a laxative is extremely harmful and should be avoided at all costs.

If constipation is a reason for using laxatives then it is best to drink large amounts of water on a daily basis and to ensure that your diet is full of fibre-rich foods. It’s also a good idea to be active throughout the day. Fiber cereals are a great way to relieve constipation as is prune joice.

Medications Aren’t As Effective When Mixed With Laxatives

Another side effect of laxatives is that if you are taking other medications of some kind they will also become less effective.

Laxatives And Weight Loss

If you are using or thinking of using laxatives for weight loss then I suggest you look elsewhere. You won’t ever lose fat with laxatives but you will lose waste products and water.
Laxative overuse and abuse is now a common method used for weight loss. Not only will you not lose weight but you will also be harming your body in your efforts to produce fast weight loss.

There is never a good reason to take laxatives for weight loss. If you aren’t eating enough your laxative use will become even more painful as you won’t have eaten enough calaries for waste products to move through your intestines at any rate.

Unfortunately another side effect of laxative use is that as your body is releasing a lot of water your body will then think that it needs to retain more water. As a result, your laxative use has caused you to carry more water than before.

While you may believe that laxatives are a fast way to weight loss, not only will you not lose weight when using laxatives but laxatives will have the opposite effect and make you carry more water and feel even more bloated.

You don’t need laxatives for fast weight loss. Check out the website below to learn how you can lose weight fast without laxatives.
